About Us - Care Philosophy
The mission of Bennington Health and Rehabilitation Center is to provide the finest quality health care, rehabilitative and support services to our residents and their families.
Our care approach is patient-centered and involves an integrated program of therapies that address the total well- being of our patients. For each resident, we create an individual care plan and assemble a care team that may include specialists from several areas. The goal is to design a course of treatment and therapy that best meets the needs of the resident.
An Award Winning Center
Bennington Health and Rehabilitation
is one of the most honored health care
centers in the state of Vermont. We
consistently rank high in state
inspection surveys and in recent years
have won a number of state grants for
our innovative care initiatives. In 2003,
we earned Vermont’s highest rating.
In 2002, we received the American
Health Case Association’s prestigious
Quality Award. All of these honors are

Volunteers Welcome
Volunteers are always welcome at
Bennington. Currently, we have over
75 volunteers who help with activities,
outings, meals and more. Interested in

Children, dogs and cats?
Absolutely!
Bennington Health and Rehabilitation
is a place full of life. It starts with our
on-site day care center, where the
children of our staff members join our
residents for intergenerational fun and
activities like painting, story-telling and
more. And then there are our live-in
pets – two sociable dogs and cats who
bring smiles and affection to all our
residents. Just like home!
